Quick answers
How do I join a friend's circle?Tap the invite link they texted you, or open the app → Coterie tab → enter their circle code. If you don't have the app yet, the link walks you through it.
My friends aren't getting notified when I go live.Ask them to check Settings → Notifications → CoterieShare is allowed. Each run notifies your circle once, and repeat runs to the same store are quieted for 30 minutes so nobody gets spammed.
Why does the app ask for "Always" location?So it can notice when you arrive at and leave the store you chose — even with the app closed. It's optional; without it the app checks when you reopen it. Your location is never shared with friends or stored as a history.
Why does it ask for Contacts?Only when you tap "Start your circle" and choose people to invite. Contacts stay on your phone; we only receive the email or number of the people you pick.
Something's wrong with a payment.CoterieShare never moves money — it opens Venmo or Zelle for you. For a payment issue, contact that app. If a run is marked wrong (paid, gifted, delivered), email us and we'll fix the record.
